I have this urgent need to write. I've started to think in haiku. I count syllables all the time, whether a thought is profound or trivial. I carry a tape recorder with me for when I get ideas while driving.

I wish I carried a tape recorder or at least a little notebook for the ideas that pop into my head.The firsr idea I would write down is:'Get a notebook to write ideas down with.'
The fun part is when I find a cryptic note that I wrote down who knows how long ago (the backs of receipts come in handy - I only use the tape recorder when I can't get my hands free.) and ask myself, "Now what was this supposed to mean?"
