Update on us.

Our planned trip to Elliotts English butchers went well on the whole apart from the driver of a large milk tanker sounding his air horns repeatedly as he overtook us on an unfamiliar road. I wasn't sure if he was annoyed or warning us that there was a problem with our camper. The thought crossed my mind that it might be Jack saying hello, but whatever the reason it shook Fair Damsel's nerves.

The journey took much longer in the camper as it was the first time in ages since we'd taken her on a long run and I didn't want to risk thrashing the engine.

We managed to buy sausages, bacon, beef and onion pies together with a few extra treats: including six packets of hoola hoops. There were no pork pies available this time which was a shame.
