Mr. C bought me some flowers at Lidl: woolflowers (Celosia spicata). I was researching it and found out the leaves and shoots are edible and supposedly taste like spinach. They're often used in stews. In Nigeria it's "soko yokoto", meaning "make husbands fat and happy".
