haiku (for Mom)


The right broiler temp.

and timely advice from Mom

crisp my parmesan.

Parmesan Crisps:

Spray cookie sheet with butter flavored cooking spray.

Using a round cookie cutter as a guide make thin circles of shaved or grated parmesan on the cookie sheet.

Place under broiler on high until golden and crispy. Watch carefully! They only take a few minutes to cook.

Remove from cookie sheet and use as garnish for chili or soup or just enjoy as a yummy snack.

Oh, they are! Just resist the urge to use too much cheese and never use that powdered stuff in the can...you know, the kind you don't even have to refrigerate. Yuck!
