I always try to keep an eye on my karma. Not because I believe that fate will reward me for good deeds, nor will it exact retribution for my sins. Karma just makes mathematical sense to me. If I do good things, that increases the total number of good things going on in the universe. Therefore the percentage of good things that could happen to me goes up.
