Fibonacci Poem (for Jay)

Take

my

hand. I’ll

go with you

no matter how steep

things get. It will be worth the view.

Gee thanks, Captain, but actually it's a Fib or Fibonacci Poem. The syllables per line are determined by the Fibonacci Sequence of numbers. Each number in the sequence is the previous two numbers added together. So, it's 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. Most writers stop at 8 syllables. After that the numbers become unmanagable rather quickly. One of these days I'm going to try a longer Fib. I've gone as far as 13 syllables so far.

Thank you, Sam. Jay's been showing me some great views of Pittsburgh that I hadn't had a chance to see.
