OneWord - so little time [cascade]

As she gazed at the tear blurred letter in her hand, the dreams that she had cherished began to cascade around her like a castle of children's blocks leveled by a tantrum. She couldn't believe what she was reading, so she chose not to. She lived on in blissful denial, pretending that she just hadn't happened to run into him for...a very long time.

Great word, Rob. Yeah, I was likely to choose the verb form anyway, though it makes a perfectly acceptable noun as well. I guess you meant that you didn't want any product placement. ;-p

I was thinking that I didn't want to limit you to cascade, as opposed to cascading, cascaded, might have casscaded if someone hadn't gone back in time, etc.

I forgot about the noun form. Oops.

I also didn't think about Cascade, the soap.

I've not been at the top of my game for a few days, have I?

I think of Niagara Falls as grief washes over me in a tumultuous cascade of nuances sweeping in from the mountaintop.

I decided to play. I may have gone overboard. Like that's new for me.

Actually, Rob, there are no rules for OneWord. The writer doesn't even have to use the word in their post. It's just a starting point - an idea generator. I do try to use the word in my post just because that's how I roll, but if a word inspired something in me that didn't use it, I wouldn't hesitate to write it.

Wow, Rob! I just had a chance to go read your post. That was really cool! I hope you'll play again!

Great as always to see you, Lefty!
