OneWord - so little time [stalwart]

I must remain stalwart in the face of so much salsa! I must not give in to its sweet and spicy peppers, its firm and juicy tomatoes. I must not cave to the crisp charm of onions or the sharp seduction of celantro. Oh . . . okay . . . one more chip!

* * * * * * *

Even though I already did stalwart on July 4, 2006, it's still a good word. The point, for me, of OneWord is perspective. I came up with a far different post this time. Thanks again, LeftUnsaid27!

You know, if anyone is playing along at home, I'd love it if you shared your OneWord results in the comments! It's a fun exercise. Just set a sixty second timer and start writing. As they say on www.OneWord.com (when it works), don't think, write! Just see what you come up with!

Yeah, I've got salsa on the brain!

There is a huge Canadian Military exercise that takes place every year at the end of August. For a number of years it was called "Stalwart Guardian", I loved the name. This year they changed the name. When I try to refer to the exercise for this year I get all mixed up and I end up calling it the "You know, that stalwart something or vigilant whatz it?" At this point my son and husband look at me cross-eyed and say, "The new name is Vigilant Guardian" (in the slow anunciating cadence)
Stalwart Guardian was so much easier to remember.
Incidentally they are both participating in it!
