Look what I found in my garden!

These are baby Asian string beans. When they are fully grown, I'll need a yard stick to measure them.

The ants seem to be enjoying the buds.

*beams with pride* I'm really excited about these because I actually grew them from seeds given to me by someone with whom I've lost touch. You can bet I'll be saving some seeds from these ones!

In answer to your question, Rob, they taste like yummy string beans, not too different regular ones. They're good for stir frying. Of course, you'd want to cut them for that. Mom told me about watching Emeril cook some that were all wound into knots. I may try that sometime.

Ooooh, very cool! I'm excited to see them all grown up! I'm an avid gardener as well, and make due with the small yard that comes with my apartment. But one day....there will be a house with a huge yard and I will have it full of gardens lol.
