He had always been frugal with his endearments. I thought at the time that he was cold, unfeeling. I wouldn't realize until much later that he was really scared to death of me....frightened of what allowing my emotions to affect him might mean to his well ordered life.

I love the frugal gormet.
I must admit though that my new favorite is Jamie Oliver. Something about the accent.
Celebrity cooks are a pet irritabt of mine; all British ones annoy me as they have such egos!

Capt: I don't like arrogance in anyone. I prefer fun loving cooks like Paula Deen. Besides, anyone who makes grits is okay in my book!
