Groans from the garden
are just the earthworms as they
push up the daisies.

I love this..the imagery is hilarious and almost cartoonist,yet,now,I swear that it is the earthworms that make it flowers grow;-)
When I saw this daisy, I couldn't help but think of the scene in Little Shop of Horrors when Audrey II is groaning with the effort to outgrow its pot.
