 Magical things do happen.

SGT Dominick Cutalo, Vietnam Veteran, on meeting Kathleen Ryan who was a young girl when she wrote a letter to servicemen in Vietnam in 1971.

He replied and she traced him 51 years later.

"With all what's going on in the world today this is a little bit of happiness. I can't find anything wrong at all with a little bit of happiness."

Heaven, Nirvana, The Afterlife...

 Heaven, Nirvana, The Afterlife...

Now we see through a glass darkly...

I think when we die, we no longer experience what things look like or sound like or even feel like. I believe that we will know what they really are. We will be able to know the individual atoms of a leaf and the entirety of the tree, of the Earth, of The Universe at the same time.

Speaking Out

I usually keep pretty quiet, but I see too much these days that makes me want to be loud.

Top o' the World Ma!

I was looking out the skylight at something Mr. C was showing me when I noticed something odd: blossoms in a tree where I'd never seen any before. Then I realized that it was the clematis which had grown up through the branches and was blooming near the top. 🌸🀯

"Is it possible?" he asked.

"Possible..." She laid a hand against his cheek.

"...probable..." She slid an arm around his waist.

"...likely..." She pressed her body against his.

"...and very definitely true." She kissed him.

To The Entwives

TO THE ENTWIVES

I have known you when

your leaves were green and supple

as the Western wind.

I have known you when

your leaves were brown and brittle

as any promise.

And I have known you

bare as the barren Winter

in your slumbers deep.

But dearest I have

known are the new buds that formed

on your fingertips.

For in each season

I've loved you but most as you

woke and stretched in Spring.
