#AtFirstKiss πŸ’‹ Vol. 21

#AtFirstKiss πŸ’‹ Vol. 21

I said, "Kiss me."

That wicked, quirky, little smile immediately shaped her lips: that sure signal that she was up to something.

Raising an eyebrow, she leaned forward and, bypassing my mouth, began slowly, sensually, stroking my nose with her own.

I didn't know that Eskimo kisses could be so sexy.

 #AtFirstKiss πŸ’‹ Vol. 20

I ran to the door to wrap my arms around my love and press my lips to his. I held my eyes closed for a long moment, hitting my mental reset button as I always did when my world became complete again, in his arms.

I curled my tongue around the decadent dark chocolate and let it slowly melt. Then I sank my teeth into a rich, creamy bite of baked brie. I cleared my palate with a nibble of bread and then swirled deep red wine into my mouth. Completing the perfection by resting my head against his shoulder, I smiled up at him. He bent his head, and I closed my eyes as he kissed my wine stained lips.

A herd of
cumulonimble
pachyderms
wafted by
on their way north,
leaving rainbows
trampled
into puddles
like so many
oil spills
in their wake.

She couldn't quite feel his lips against hers. The powder got in the way, but they did taste sweet. She decided to serve Tarte TropΓ©zienne for breakfast more often.

He crossed the room in three long strides and hugged me longer than convention dictated. Emboldened or perhaps weakened beyond resistance, I tipped my face up and pressed my lips to his. Whether he'd planned it or not, he suddenly found himself kissing me back.

She folded me into her arms, resting her head against mine, kissing my hair.

She sighed, "Did you feel that?"

"You mean that little pop inside my chest. That sensation like when two soap bubbles meet and the barrier between them vanishes and they become one?"

"Yes."

"Yes."

'The Lure'

'The Lure'

Everyone wondered why the cat always chose that particular landing to sleep on in the sun. It was because that was the landing where all the good smells gathered. That old soul with the bent tail that no one ever gave any attention to, no one except me the night I made fish chowder and it chose my windowsill instead.

I grabbed the tail of his jacket and pulled him into the cloakroom with a giggle. He laughed back at me and then buried his hands in my hair and pressed his mouth to mine. I surrendered completely to his kiss and sighed in his arms until someone showed up looking for their coat...

His gruff manners were somewhat odious to her ethereal nature. While he liked to shout, she preferred to whisper. He stomped; she tiptoed. He pounded; she tapped. He devoured; she tasted. But when he took her in his arms and pressed his lips to hers, all thoughts of a more delicate love disappeared and she knew the meaning of animal hunger.
