Well! That was rather more excitement than I needed. We went shopping among pre-Christmas crowds in Laval. Then my GPS refused to work to get us to McDonald's. Mr. C was determined that I should get my Fillet-o-fish and just drove toward the center of town looking for signs. There weren't any. Then we saw one for Burger King and I said I would settle for that. Guess what's practically right next to Burger King. You guessed it! Those golden arches were like a beacon of hope!

Look! A Micky-D's hamburger that actually goes all the way to the edge of the bun! 🤯😋

Mr. C had Chicken Nuggies (not pictured) and we shared the fries.

In late afternoon we went shopping and saw an owl as we returned in the darkness.

I Frankensteined together elements from two bookmark patterns to make a new design with a star at the top and a heart at the bottom for Random Acts of Kindness. They work up really fast and are fun to make. Also great for using up little bits of leftover yarn.

A bright chilly day so we took it easy by listening to ghost stories, watching Doctor Who & snoozing on and off.

Fair Damsel let the pork joint cook overnight and served it up with courgettes, gravy and my roast potatoes.

The pork roast the I put in the crock pot when I couldn't sleep at 3am cooked on low for 8 hours. I let it rest a good long while and then shredded it into scrumptious meat candy aka pulled pork. I'm glad putting it on to cook in the wee hours wasn't just a dream. 😋
