You may have seen my posts about working my way through The Granny Square Card Deck. I learned pretty early on that my set was a knock-off. Don't blame Mr. C. I actually placed the order. Blame Amazon for not properly vetting their vendors. This week's square nearly did my head in as both the chart on the card and the written instructions in the booklet were incomplete. I have since learned that the patterns weren't even based on the original Granny Square Card Deck. They were all stolen from 'The Untimate Granny Square Source Book' which I have now acquired. I will still complete the squares shown on the cards I have but will use the book for instruction.

So, buyer beware! If you want to purchase a set Ike this, get it from a reputable book store.
