Her habit had made Sister Tony appear dour, so Johnny was stunned to find his teacher laughing in the parking lot as she kicked a soccer ball around with some of the younger students. They seemed unsurprised by this behavior. So, Johnny resolved to be more observant of how the nuns behaved when they didn't have rulers in their hands.
