"I just don't understand your cavalier attitude," I signed, exhasperated.
"I guess I'm just a romantic," he smiled sweeping off his plumed hat and sticking his sword in the ground by his booted foot.
"Yeah, but it doesn't exactly go with my costume," I grumbled tucking a gummy worm back into a fake wound. "I always think of Halloween as scary." I shrugged a hunched shoulder and went off to the masquerade party with the lone muskateer anyway.
