TwoWords - so little time [odious/ethereal]

His gruff manners were somewhat odious to her ethereal nature. While he liked to shout, she preferred to whisper. He stomped; she tiptoed. He pounded; she tapped. He devoured; she tasted. But when he took her in his arms and pressed his lips to hers, all thoughts of a more delicate love disappeared and she knew the meaning of animal hunger.

I don't remember doing either of those words before, LeftUnsaid27, not recently at any rate. Besides, sometimes it's fun to write something new about a word I've done before.
