the morning glories
open their throats to the sky
wait to taste the rain
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?… There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do…as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." ~M.Williamson

Thank you so much, Pat! Wow, you're quick! I barely posted that before your comment appeared.
They're one of my fav flowers, sweet pic Osquer!
Thanks, Bea! The morning glories have been doing fabulously! They come from very hardy stock. Let me know if you'd like me to mail you some seeds this fall. They do fairly well in pots.
I have an inordinate attachment to morning glories. How can I not? The place I was married is called the Morning Glory Inn!
