www.oneword.com - one word, so little time [chess]

It was like a human game of chess. I found myself dressed all in white with a big round ball on my head. Of course I would be a pawn. Okay. Pawn to H3. Where the smeg is H3? And where is Alice when I need her? What was it the Red Queen said, again? Darn. I could really use another biscuit.

Biscuit: that's a transatlantic confusion!

Was this a dream?!?

Will that be with gravy or butter?

Jel: I believe that would be a cookie for those of us on this side of the pond.

Captain: Very true - like pants and trousers.

PW: And here I thought the Alice reference would be a dead givaway. I was thinking of Through The Looking Glass. So, in a manner of speaking, it was a dream, but not mine.

Pat: I prefer my biscuits (buttermilk that is) with honey.

The things I read, see or hear often influence my dreams. So, I thought you had read Through the Looking Glass and it influenced your dream. :)
