I emerged from the
Fort Pitt Tunnel just as the
music kicked back in.
(The song was "Groove Is In The Heart" by: Dee-Lite and I grooved all the way down the Parkway! I need to go dancing!)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?… There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do…as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." ~M.Williamson

Aaah, your haiku's are like a soothing needle in the arm of a junkie.I have become addicted to their pleasures
Sir Sam, I try to write one every day. It's been a long time since I missed. I think I'm addicted to them to. I tend to think in syllables. They also help me to recapture moods and moments. Quite often conversations spawn haiku. (Case in point - there's one contained within this comment.)
Perhaps because I can not do them I get off on someone so gifted at producing them so seemingly easily. It is fine art,and I enjoy them very much
