After tidying downstairs I happily headed to bed only to find Moriarty & Watson hogging my pillow.

Fair Damsel eventually persuaded them to move and as a reward I made her an early first breakfast.

The worst of the bug seems to be over so I was up early to do laundry and put it out to dry before having breakfast. I served Fair Damsel's breakfast late as she had a lie in.

We drove into town and then Fair Damsel cooked dinner.😋

Due to circumstances beyond my control I was in a rotten mood this afternoon. Mr. C bought me flowers to cheer me up. It worked.

We had a mix of sun and clouds today. It was a bit cool though. The clouds in this picture make it look like my camera was crooked but I assure you it was level.

I crocheted a large sunflower applique to put on a T-shirt I have with a stain on the front. Now I just have to decide how I want to attach it. Do I go through the torture of sewing it on or try iron-on adhesive tape...or even E-6000? 🤔

I learned 2 new #crochet patterns. The little Sleepy Owl bag showed me the rewards of perseverance. Parts of it were a real b**** but I'm pleased as punch with the results. The #amigurumi Horned Owl was much simpler.

Much cooler with rain early on so we spent a restful day watching The Voyage of Charles Darwin and listening to stories on YouTube.

Fair Damsel made huge pasties for dinner and I provided the chips + baked beans for me.

Before breakfast I cycled to Intermarché for milk, bread, eggs and potatoes. Took over 2 hrs in total and it was sunny by the time I was halfway home so I regretted wearing a coat.

Merci beaucoup to the person who posted the reel saying I should rotate my plants. Thanks to you I discovered that the succulent leaves that had fallen into my Octopus's Fairy Garden have numerous pups. This proves that the best way to propagate succulents is accidentally.
