"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?… There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do…as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." ~M.Williamson
We went to the post office and then Lidl where I rewarded myself for getting up and out early with a favourite treat, focaccia brie, for lunch. In fact I got 2 of them so I have another one for tomorrow. π
Then Mr. C popped into Super U for some Weetabix.
We rounded off the trip at Intermarche where we got the ingredients so I can make another pot of beef stew - this time with dumplings.
Update on us

An early start to be at the hospital for 09:30. Sarah took me in the mini and we arrived in plenty of time. Indeed, I wasn't seen until 10:15 as there were others before me. The medication is working well, but the doctor believes an operation will be necessary in January.
On a brighter note, I had another helping of Fair Damsel's stew for lunch and another for dinner: I made mashed potatoes in an effort to contribute and the meal went down a treat. Absolutely Sunbeamadeliciousπ
All's well in our world, Sunbeams.

A restful day spent indoors. We watched an interesting documentary about M.R. James, on YouTube, followed by the first episode of 'I Claudius' starring Derek Jacobi.
Fair Damsel prepared a Sunbeamadelicious beef stew which went down a treat with 'Midsommers Murders'.π

To Vitre this AM for Mr. C's latest scan. All is well.
We passed some artistic signs for the Tour de France and an agricultural festival I was sorry to have missed. I would have enjoyed the most beautiful cow contest.
The yellow crane is an inside joke about our trip to St. Malo when we got lost trying to get back to our camper, "Well, it was by the big yellow crane!" We could see the crane. We just couldn't find a street that led to it. π
The manager also kindly let me take the display strip and hook as well. So my new yarn is hung neatly where I can stare at it with my ridiculously happy grin. I'm going to learn the Willow Square. I'm going to make the squares with the coloured yarn and join them with the white.
