I tried a little variation of the no-sew #crochet turtle pattern, adding a chain stitch embellishment to the shell. Mr. C says we can't separate these two. I agreed to let him keep them saying, "They do look happy together." Cue incredibly appropriate folk rock earworm.

I knew I wouldn't have enough neon green left to crochet this Pora Pora Leaf Bookmark pattern in one colour; so, I decided to try a two-toned version. I loved it so much I made another in cream and taupe. More to come, I think.

I wanted to make another bright green froggy pouch but wasn't sure if I had enough of the neon green yarn left. I really didn't feel like playing yarn chicken today; so, I gave the new one a cream coloured belly. It also has bigger eyes because that's what I had left.

I have discovered that you can make just about any crochet applique into a little pouch if you make 2 of them and stitch them together back to back adding a little loop at the top of one and a long loop at the top of the other.

A hot day spent napping and watching our shows until early evening when I went for a bike ride. A white butterfly with black circles followed me for a little while.

Every now and then I get on a monochrome kick. I especially enjoy it if I can add one tiny spark of bright colours.

A mixed day weather wise saw us heading into town for groceries. Fair Damsel gave a little girl a crocheted square bear before we drove to the Pagode Chinoise to leave some kindness angels.

We treated ourselves to a fry up for dinner.😋

At the end of a public parking area, across from the park at La Selle-Guerchaise, Mr. C spotted a new fresh bread vending machine. Of course we had to stop for a baguette. Crusty outside and soft inside, it was 1.25€ well spent! 🥖😋 Vive la France!
