My new favourite #crochet pattern: it can be made with any style granny square, I think. This is the Sunburst Granny Square.

Am I the only one? When I'm trying something for the first time, even if it's late and I'm tired, if I'm close to finishing I have to keep going. That's why I finished crocheting this little wallet at 3am. Watson and Moriarty took turns "helping" me.

It's based on an Instagram video I saw of a passport case. I made it with finer (DK - 3) yarn and it worked out just the right size for credit or business cards. I made a granny square and then brought 3 corners to the center. I used the chain join method along the seams and continued the colour in slip stitches along the top edge. Then I added a button and voila!

I finished adding length to my hexi-cardigan. Now I get to do the finishing edge. I will experiment when I do to see how big the button holes need to be. I'm going to do the pockets and wash it before I add the buttons. Washing it will make it softer.
