Update on us:

20:15 hrs.

We had a fairly quiet day and got some much needed rest as life has been a bit unsettled recently.

After having breakfast, doing our French lessons, and watching Jon Oliver, we finished listening to the audiobook of Sir Terry Pratchett's 'The Last Continent' while I tried to get on with a rather involved crochet project.

I decided to get fancy with dinner by making a pair of upside-down tomato tarts with bacon. I very nearly ruined the bacon through inattentiveness but, fortunately, it survived and was nicely crispy. Mr. C had a fried egg on his tart and I had Boursin on mine. They went down well with tasty mugs of tea and a ghost story read by Simon Stanhope on YouTube.
