Update on us:

19:55 hrs.

Mr. C's pain had abated enough that I let him talk me into accepting his offer to cook breakfast this morning.

Afterwards we relaxed with a bit of Sir Terry Pratchett on audiobook ('Thud!') I've been crocheting more octopi with variegated yarn for random acts of kindness. I love leaving them in the children's shopping carts at Intermarche as well as the play area at the pharmacy.

Neither of us felt like doing much, but we steeled our resolve and ventured out to take care of necessary errands and supplies. I rewarded myself with a salmon and creme fraiche pizza. I dont have to share because Mr. C is allergic to cheese. Don't feel bad for him though. He enjoyed his beloved baked beans on toast with a fried egg for dinner. It all went down well with tasty mugs o'tea.
