I charged the battery overnight so during a bright spell this afternoon Fair Damsel suggested a drive in the camper which we hadn't done for ages.
We drove for an hour along country lanes with Fair Damsel happily videoing and taking photos.

Gales and heavy rain prevented me from charging the camper but it did try to start which suggests that Jack may have cured the drain on the battery. I'll charge it later if conditions improve but in the meantime it's time to prepare dinner.

I'd planned to take the camper to Jack's for repair and have my hair cut by his wife but the battery was flat. He came and jump started it so I got my haircut but the repair was unsuccessful.
Never mind, at least Fair Damsel made Cornish pasties.😋

Despite falling asleep after breakfast, I was determined to help Michel with strimming the lake area. It was almost dark when I finished and my arms ached but Fair Damsel rewarded me with Cornish pasties and sweet bites😋

We spent the day resting and I slept through a good part of it after waking up at 05:00 hrs. Our body clocks are well out of sync but should settle as the weather improves.

Finally sorted the washing machine error problem by simply lifting the door and closing gently. I washed 2 loads overnight and both dried despite cloudy skies.
It's raining now but Fair Damsel's already put them away.

A beautiful day so we drove to another town to see if we could find treats for us both. Fair Damsel bought some huge balls of yarn with a few other things: I bought 20 tins of baked beans and a packet of fig biscuits.
