Update on us

As we drove to Fair Damsel's hospital appointment this afternoon we came upon a road traffic accident with les pompiers in attendance which delayed us for a couple of minutes.

Not long afterwards, somewhere between Cuille and Argentré-du-Plessis, we saw plumes of smoke emanating from the woods to our right and it soon became clear that a wildfire was in progress. Fair Damsel was able to snap a photo of the smoke and another of a fire engine speeding to the scene.

On the return journey it was evident that the fire had been successfully dealt with.
