Update on us:

11:40 hrs.

I had to have fasting blood work done at the lab; so, Mr. C drove me there first thing this morning through pea soup fog. Asside from one 🤬 riding our tail part way there it was uneventful, thank goodness. 

While in town we picked up a few supplies to avoid another trip out later and save on fuel. This also allowed the fog to clear a bit before the drive home.

Mr. C tried to use his new bank card at the cash machine but it wasn't working because of a power cut. That's when we noticed that all of La Guerche was completely without power. Looks like we got our groceries just in time.

I got a message from my doctor clarifying a request he had sent to the scheduling secretary for me. He said to them that I would "Préfère l'AM." Which I thought meant I would prefer a morning appointment. I said I would very much prefer an afternoon appointment as we have to drive some distance. He explained to me that in French "AM" means afternoon (après-midi). You learn something new everyday.

We are happy to be home (Isn't home a wonderful word?) for the rest of the day. 🌞❤️🌻
