Update on us.

21:40 hrs

We started our day with a late tasty fryup.The bright sunshine streamed through the french windows and warmed us for the first time in ages. I had planned to head to the local post office to post some important documents, but saw online that it was temporarily closed until next week. Undaunted, I decided to head to the one in town later in the day.

Unfortunately, it was not to be because I felt absolutely shattered by mid-afternoon and ached all over. I'd not been feeling brilliant for awhile tbh but had put it down to too much activity on the shopping front. However, upon checking my post-op advice, I discovered that I hadn't been drinking enough water and had symptoms of dehydration. I quickly drank two glasses of water and had a long nap. Meanwhile, Fair Damsel cleaned Rinsewind's birdcage before continuing with her crocheting whilst listening to a Terry Pratchett story. 

I awoke feeling much better and to celebrate, I cooked us bangers & mash for dinner. It went down a treat with a tasty mug o' tea and an episode of Death in Paradise.😋
