Mulder is the last and tiniest member of my little brood. He is a Zebra Finch. Mulder is 9 years old, which is ancient for a finch as they normally only live 5-7 years. His mate, Scully, passed away a couple of years ago, but not before they had raised a dozen babies together!
And Tally says, "The space under the coffee table...it's not just for hiding from thunderstorms any more!"

The babies all got good homes. In fact, one of Mulder's daughters still lives with a friend of mine.
I used to crawl under the china closet with my grandmother's beagle, Cleopatra!
