Today I learned the Sunburst Granny Square from a YouTube tutorial by Blossom Crochet. I've decided that every time I learn a new square motif, I'm going to make one with dk weight yarn, each with the same outer dimensions. When I have enough, I'm going to join them to make a patchwork tote. I figure I'll need 35 squares for the design I have in mind. I also made a regular granny square so I'll have examples of every square I've learned when I'm done.
